Global Geography

Geography aims to develop students' knowledge and understanding, skills, attitudes and values about the distribution of human and natural phenomena and their spatial interactions in order to promote active and informed citizenship in a changing world.

We aim to encourage students not only to become more aware of their environment but to be actively involved in decisions about the heritage they wish to bequeath to future generations. They are expected to participate in local activities such as the Clean Up Australia campaign and also to develop a life long interest in more global issues.

Global Geography is a Stage 4 course which is studied in Year 8.
