English
The study of English in Years 7-10 enables students to become proficient users of the English language building on their learning in Years K-6 and preparing them for the study of English in later Stages.
Through their study of English, students develop their critical and imaginative faculties and broaden their critical literacy.
As students' mastery of English grows, they are able to question, evaluate, challenge and reformulate information. These skills allow them to develop and express their personalities and connect with other people and communities.
