Assessment & Reporting
All subjects completed by the end of Stage 4 contribute the mandatory hours of study set by the Board of Studies and appear on the School Certificate Testamur.
A Homework timetable is planned and distributed to students in Years 7 and 8. This provides regular homework for students with three subjects per evening and totalling one hour per night
An assessment booklet is also distributed to students at the beginning of the year indicating the due dates for all assessments. This may include an assignment or project, one per term permitted per subject; topic tests, usually during the lesson following revision time and preparation; and examinations, usually 1-11/2 hours at the end of semester one and two.
An Interim Report is sent home at the end of Term 1 and a semester one and semester two report is sent home at the completion of each semester.
